Vicky came highly recommended to us — and I’m really glad we reached out to her. What I appreciated most wasn’t just her knowledge (which is excellent), but how she showed up for me in a very human, reassuring way during what can be an overwhelming time. She helped me work through positioning in the comfort of my home, which made such a difference and gave me much-needed comfort and confidence while feeding. She’s also very responsive. Whenever I had questions, she came back quickly with useful guidance and often shared trusted resources and links that were genuinely helpful. During one particularly stressful period at the hospital, Vicky went out of her way to connect us with her lactation consultant network to make sure we weren’t left struggling. That meant a lot to us. I would recommend Vicky to anyone planning to breastfeed — whether it’s your first baby or not. Every feeding journey brings its own challenges, and having someone kind, experienced and knowledgeable alongside you makes all the difference.

This is the second time Vicky has come to us to assess and treat tongue tie. She is incredibly friendly, chatty and knowledgeable, and we felt very at ease with her in our home. She gave us all the time we needed during the appointment and came back to our house for a second appointment after our baby had received some osteopathic treatment, on her recommendation,.to perform the frenulotomy. She genuinely cares and puts the child and parent first, and I would strongly recommend Vicky to anyone needing support from her, whether it relate to.tongue tie and/or feeding issues. Thank you Vicky!
May 2026 Just having someone actually listen to me helped enormously, she made us feel like she was genuinely interested and cared. Despite no intervention being needed she gave gave me confidence and without that I would not have continued to breastfeed successfully

We went to Vicky as we suspected my daughter had a tongue tie due to feeding issues. Vicky was professional and friendly from the first conversation. When we visited the clinic, we talked through all of the issues we had been experiencing and Vicky asked loads of questions. She then held my daughter and did a few gentle checks. She told us she suspected my daughter had a lot of tension which could be causing the issues, so she recommend cranial osteopathy before going forward with a tongue tie release. We went away and had 4 sessions with an osteopath and her feeding improved massively! Vicky checked in with me regularly and when I said that I did not think a tongue tie division was needed, she completely agreed. I was nervous before going to the appointment that I would be judged for bottle feeding but I couldn't be more wrong. Vicky was so supportive and understanding. I would recommend her to anyone with feeding issues
May 2026 Vicky is incrediblykind and caring. She listens and tailors her approach to your needs. She made me feel at ease and empowered me to make my own decision April 2026 Vicky is a wonderfully kind human being who is passionate about helping mamas and extremely knowledgeable and professional. I know I wouldn’t still be breastfeeding if it wasn’t for her and I’m forever grateful. I would recommend her in a heartbeat and already have!

I can’t recommend Vicky enough! She was amazing with me and my son. My son was diagnosed with a tongue tie and it was causing feeding problems so I decided to contact Vicky (who was recommended by the nhs feeding specialist) because he’s bottle fed and so the nhs may not have done it. On her first visit to my home she talked me through what she did and how she worked and then examined my son. She noticed the he had a preference to turn his head to one side and recommended seeing an osteopath to release any tension before having the division to reduce the chance of it reattaching. After visiting the osteopath and having the tension release she came back to do the division. She was patient while explaining everything to me, she examined my son again before doing the division and confirmed that the tension had been released by the osteopath, then she got everything set up. She swaddled him with a blanket and then had my cousin hold his head in place (I knew I wouldn’t be able to do it without getting emotional) 3 seconds later he was being brought to me for a bottle. She stayed until he was calm and fed and then later in the day messaged me to check in and then a week later phoned me to see how things were going and discharge him from her care but said if I had any questions to contact her and she’d be happy to help. My baby’s feeding has been so much better and he seems so much happier in general. I can’t thank Vicky enough for her help

When my daughter had a suspected tongue tie and slow weight gain, I contacted Vicky to assess her. Initially I was really fearful of the procedure - almost in denial that she needed it. But instead it turned out that meeting Vicky was the best thing I could have ever done for our feeding journey. Vicky put me at ease really quickly into our appointment and soon it felt just like a chat with a friend who just happened to be an expert on feeding babies. The frenulotomy itself was so stress free purely because of how relaxed Vicky had made the environment before hand, even how it was okay to defer the procedure if we didn’t feel ready. I chose to continue contact afterwards in her IBCLC capacity and am still in regular dialogue with her 6 weeks after the tie release. Without Vicky’s continued support I 100% would have become disheartened with my breastfeeding journey and would be exclusively formula feeding my daughter by this stage. Vicky always champions my achievements and has been an invaluable sounding board whenever I have been looking for guidance, without an agenda of her own. Thank you for taking us on!

Thank you Vicky for helping to make our feeding journey a positive one, and for helping us to realise that combi feeding is what saved our breastfeeding relationship the second time round, as with the first time! You were so supportive when I had problems with low supply with my first baby and you went out of your way to offer advice when I was expecting my second. When I experienced the same issues with low supply again you quickly helped me to realise that giving top-ups were needed to keep my baby healthy, but what was more important was the emotional support in helping me come to terms with the fact I can’t exclusively breastfeed. With your help my breastfeeding journey has been a lot less stressful the second time around. I only hope we can continue successfully combi feeding for another 12 months, just like last time. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your services to any breastfeeding mother, it’s such a personable service and you really do care about your clients. Thank you! Xxx

I'm not sure how to sum up our experience in a brief comment, we are so pleased. I was the mum who researched breastfeeding endlessly in pregnancy and never would have expected to struggle in the way we have. I can say confidently that without Vicky's help we would be stuck in the same painful cycle of uncomfortable feeds, an upset baby and no hope. Thanks to Vicky I now know what it feels like to feed without pain and my baby is so much happier and more comfortable. She offers invaluable support and is so thorough. It is clear how knowledgeable she is, and when faced with a long list of complaints she deconstructed it to find what was going on and truly listened to us about every aspect of our feeding issues, no stone left unturned. What we really appreciated was the continuation of care post-division and how she made us feel we could come back to her any time for support - which we did more than once. We are so grateful for her help, which has been instrumental in our breastfeeding success so far. I feel confident we can continue for long into the future, but also know exactly who to call if we need any support along the road. Thank you Vicky

Vicky is the reason I have been able to continue breastfeeding despite such a challenging start with significant weight loss and a hospital stay. We did not receive much support from hospital or midwives regarding breastfeeding, they pushed formula as the only option and Vicky not only helped us eliminate formula completely but continued to work with us to help me exclusively breastfeed. Vicky goes above and beyond for her clients, continuing to check in with you to create the best plan to support your feeding goals.
When you meet Vicky, it’s like talking to a friend and a counsellor all in one who completely understands what you’re going through and empathises wholeheartedly. There is no pressure and no rush; the examination of my baby’s tongue was thorough and gentle and Vicky offered excellent breastfeeding support and advice following this examination. I really cannot recommend Vicky enough or think her enough for her support. When we were dismissed by the NHS and given no further feeding support to support my baby’s weight and my goal to breastfeed, Vicky was a saviour creating a bespoke plan for us and truly saving my breastfeeding journey. Vicky is kind, professional, and incredibly comforting.I was very anxious and scared for my daughter, but the moment Vicky entered our home and started talking to her, I felt an immense sense of relief. She initially tried to help me with breastfeeding—maybe to avoid treatment—but then we both decided that treatment was the best option. In less than a minute, everything was done. My daughter didn’t cry the way I had expected! I held her then, and she breastfed for the first time without any pain. June 2025 |
Vicky was recommended to me and I was so happy she was. My little girl had lost 10% of her weigh and it was thought it was down to tongue tie. Vicky was professional, kind, informative and put me at ease when corresponding. She got my booked in very quickly and when she turned up she had a very warm and comfortable energy which helped me relax. She did an assessment and the advice she gave me was brilliant. My daughter didn’t need the procedure but the support I got before, during and after was invaluable. I would recommend Vicky to anyone who is struggling with feeding.
Survey Feedback, December 2023
I felt so supported by Vicky, and having the tongue tie division was a decision I felt Vicky guided me through and wasn’t a quick fix solution. We worked together on all aspects of feeding and didn’t jump to that being the catch all solution. When I first saw Vicky I was really struggling to breastfeed at all, and we are now comfortably combi feeding with zero pain. I felt like Vicky genuinely cared about my breastfeeding journey and was there for me emotionally throughout the past few weeks.

Vicky visited us 2 weeks after the arrival of my daughter. I was really wanting to breastfeed as she is our last child and I couldn't with our first. We were having lots of issues including sore nipples, bleeding, windy fussy baby, no weight gain etc. One of the visiting midwives suspected a possible tongue tie so I went to my G.P who wasn't really helpful, I decided I didn't really want to keep going back and was nearly giving up! baby really wasn't happy and I was very stressed. Vicky came over and assessed her and we had the procedure, 1 week down the road she is feeding much better, my boobs are not bleeding and baby is gaining weight. The support I've had from Vicky following the procedure has been outstanding! I couldn't have done it without her.
